Roger was born in San Diego, California. At age 10, he started working at a pizza shop where he mopped floors and cleaned - he worked in two other restaurants bussing and dishwashing until he was 18. Around the time he was 16, he started working for a drywall company after school, while working at the restaurants at night. At 21, he was in charge of building Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO) mini-markets and gas stations. By the time Roger was 25, he held three contractors license - plumbing, drywall and general contractor.

As a general contractor, Roger built Ginger Rogers home in Palm Springs, CA, log cabins in Lake Alamor, CA and geometric dome homes in San Diego.

Eventually, work took Roger to Oklahoma where he spent three years working on oil rigs - taking them down, putting them up and driving the transport truck (22 wheeler) to move them. Then, back to California, again, where he began building large grocery stores and gas stations.

In 1994, Roger moved his family to Evansville where he started his own drywall business. In early 1999, while on a drywall job, Bob Woodward, Jr. stopped to talk - he has been with Woodward ever since.

At Woodward, Roger has worked his way from Maintenance to, today, Senior Construction Manager.

Roger is married and lives on the north side of Evansville. He has six children and 2 stepchildren, and is a Grandpa, too!
