STEVE KAHRE

Steve brings over 30 years of construction and development experience to the Woodward team. Steve owned and operated his own construction company, Kahre Construction, for 20 years, starting in residential and quickly moving into commercial buildings. Steve joined Woodward as Vice President of Development and Construction in October of 2001, after working on the Graham Packaging building project with Bob Woodward Sr. and Evan Beck. Steve’s responsibilities include managing build-to-suit projects, supervising the construction staff and working with build-to-suit and general contracting prospects.

Steve enjoys spending time with his wife Karen of 29 years, his daughter Kelly and her husband, Zach. He also enjoys scuba diving, snow skiing, boating, and playing softball. Steve has been a certified scuba diver for over 30 years with over 250 logged dives.
